Based against the backdrop of 19th century Indian labourers and the Colonial English, this is a moving tale of one man’s efforts to survive in a strange land and the subsequent result of oppression, treachery and injustice. Chandra Chosaran would never have believed the pain and the suffering he would have to endure when he left India in 1860.
