Historians and sociologists tell us that humans connect morethrough storytelling than through lengthy descriptions or histories.Well, Ian Charles MacLeod is a natural born storyteller, andhe’s got the life experiences to back that up. He has lived ineighteen communities, had three successful careers, attendedseven universities, and headed fifteen volunteer boards. He has been a logger, lender, lawyer, and leader. In fact, Ian hashad many unique or interesting work experiences, includingbeing in five robberies or attempts as a banker; carrying a corpseout of the bush, also as a banker; going into a medium securityprison under an assumed name; and negotiating major financingtransactions of over a half billion dollars.Ian was raised to question authority and often did! He has takenmany risks … but came out relatively unscathed. Due to themultiple sclerosis that he contracted in 1994, in 2000 he hadto go onto medical leave, so life slowed down a bit. He’s okayfrom the head up-although some might dispute that-and notcomplaining; the only w(h)ine anyone is interested in comes in abottle. Enjoy the wild life story of a man who’s done it all.
